Aiden's Ashes part 1

I’ve never really liked driving. Especially in large cities. In large, crowded, new cities. And yet there I was, driving in the middle of the night in the rain. All in New Orleans, a city I’d moved to barely a week before. So of course I wasn’t in the best of moods. I was returning home after a trip east to turn over my old house keys to the new owners. I wanted nothing more than to slip out of my too-tight jeans and shirt and sink into my queen bed. What I didn’t want was for something to run out in front of me.
